My Approach
Different Modalities for your needs…
It’s so important to be adaptable for each client! Everyone has different needs. As a integrative therapist, I believe therapy is not a ‘one-size-fits-all’, I actively personalise our sessions so you can get the most out of them!
-
Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) brings the focus to you. Using PCT, I create a warm environment for the safe exploration of your thoughts and feelings void of judgement. This approach operates on the belief that you know yourself best. Together, we work towards growth and discovery.
-
Attachment Theory explores how our early relationships may have impacted our emotional-wellbeing. These past relationships may have created patterns which influence current relationships. Through exploration, together we can understand these patterns for the development of healthier relationships.
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is based on the idea that behaviours, feelings and thoughts are interlinked and influence each other. In sessions, we will identify and challenge negative thinking patterns and assumptions for the development of effective strategies for greater fulfillment.
-
Compassionate-Focused Therapy (CFT) looks to invite in self-compassion. By using CFT techniques, we can move towards kindness, self-acceptance and resilience.
-
Transactional Analysis (TA) aids the understanding of how we navigate and interact in our relationships with others through communication and the roles we play. The main goal of TA is to improve these interactions.
